Terms of Service

1. General provisions and definitions

  1. These Terms govern the services provided electronically at https://www.smart-copy.ai (the "Service").
  2. The Service is operated by eCopywriting.pl Karol Leszczyński, Papowo Biskupie 119/18, Poland, VAT ID (NIP): 9562203948, REGON: 340627879 (the "Provider"). Contact: support@smart-copy.ai.
  3. Definitions: User — an account holder; Account — an individual account in the Service; Balance — the User's prepaid funds; Text — content generated at the User's request; Autoblog — the recurring content-series service; API — the public programming interface; Plugin — the "Smart-Copy Connector" WordPress plugin; API Key — a confidential credential for API access.
  4. Using the Service requires accepting these Terms.

2. Scope of services

  1. AI Text generation — creating content (articles, blog posts, product descriptions, reports, analyses, social media posts, emails and more) based on the User's parameters (topic, length, Polish or English, guidelines, SEO keywords and links, own sources). Texts are produced with artificial-intelligence models and automated research of web and, optionally, academic sources.
  2. AI images — optional generation of a featured image for a Text (AI image model), included in the Text's price. The User may disable it per order.
  3. Outline approval — an optional mode where writing starts only after the User approves the outline.
  4. Revisions — up to 3 free revisions of each completed Text based on the User's feedback.
  5. WordPress publishing — automatic publication of Texts on the User's site (immediately, as a draft, or scheduled for a chosen date) via the Plugin or WordPress application passwords.
  6. Google Docs export — saving a completed Text as a Google document on the User's Drive, after a one-off connection of the Google account.
  7. Autoblog — automatic planning of a topic cluster (with competitor research and, where available, the User's site profile) and recurring generation and publication of Texts at a chosen weekly pace.
  8. API and integrations — programmatic access to the Service (API keys, OAuth 2.0 authorisation, webhooks, test keys, API console).

3. Account

  1. Registration requires an e-mail address and password or a Google account, and acceptance of these Terms. E-mail verification is required. Forms are protected by reCAPTCHA.
  2. The User must keep login credentials, API Keys and Plugin keys confidential. Operations performed with those credentials are deemed the User's operations.
  3. The Provider may suspend Accounts violating these Terms or the law. The User may request Account deletion at any time (support@smart-copy.ai).

4. Payments and Balance

  1. Services are billed from the prepaid Balance. The billing currency is the Polish złoty (PLN); prices may be displayed indicatively in USD at the National Bank of Poland average rate.
  2. A Text's price is charged per 1000 characters of the ordered length, according to the price list shown in the Service at the time of ordering. The price is always shown before confirmation and deducted from the Balance when the order is placed.
  3. Top-ups are processed by Stripe. The Provider does not store full card details.
  4. Auto top-up — the User may voluntarily save a card and enable automatic Balance top-ups of a chosen amount, executed when funds are insufficient (in particular for Autoblog). It can be disabled at any time in the dashboard.
  5. Unused Balance funds are refundable on request, except for promotional credits.

5. Delivery and content rights

  1. Generation starts immediately after ordering and usually takes from a few to a few dozen minutes. Progress (research, outline, section writing, image) is visible live in the dashboard.
  2. Upon delivery, the User acquires the full right to use the Text without restrictions, including commercially, to modify it and to publish it under their own name or brand. The Provider claims no rights to delivered Texts and does not reuse them for other users.
  3. Texts and images are produced with artificial intelligence. Despite automated research they may contain errors — the User must verify content before publication, in particular specialist content (medical, legal, financial). The Provider does not guarantee any search-engine rankings.
  4. Publication on the User's site (including via Autoblog) is performed at the User's request and responsibility.

6. Refunds, withdrawal and complaints

  1. Automatic refund — if generation fails for technical reasons, the price of that Text is automatically returned to the Balance.
  2. Content is generated immediately and individually on request. By placing an order, a consumer consents to the immediate supply of digital content before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal for that Text upon its delivery (Art. 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, implementing EU law).
  3. Regardless of the above, the User may use free revisions (sec. 2.4) and file complaints at support@smart-copy.ai. Complaints are handled within 14 days.

7. API, keys and OAuth

  1. API access uses API Keys generated in the dashboard or OAuth 2.0 tokens issued to applications the User authorised on the consent screen. API orders are billed from the Balance under sec. 4.
  2. Test keys (sc_test_) are for building integrations: they return simulated responses and never charge the Balance or generate content.
  3. The User may revoke any API Key and withdraw any OAuth application's access in the dashboard at any time. Developers registering their own OAuth applications are responsible for their legality and security, and for honestly informing users about the scope of access.
  4. Rate limits apply. In particular, it is prohibited to share keys with third parties, to circumvent limits or security measures, or to use the API unlawfully.
  5. Webhooks are sent to endpoints designated by the User and are cryptographically signed; the User is responsible for the security of the receiving endpoint.

8. WordPress Plugin and Autoblog

  1. The Plugin connects the User's site to the Service with a connection key and enables ordering Texts from wp-admin, automatic publication and Autoblog. As part of the connection, the Plugin sends the site profile (title, tagline, categories, titles and excerpts of recent posts) to the Service for automatic topic detection.
  2. Autoblog charges each Text's price from the Balance before generating it. If funds are insufficient, the series is paused (after an auto top-up attempt, if enabled) and the User is notified; it can be resumed after topping up.
  3. The User is responsible for the availability, backups and configuration of their WordPress site. Failed publications are retried automatically.

9. Shop and product catalogue integrations

  1. The Service allows bulk creation of product descriptions from a CSV file, a product feed, or a catalogue held in an external system — in particular Base (formerly BaseLinker). The User establishes the connection themselves by providing their own credentials (an API token); the Service stores them encrypted and uses them solely to deliver the ordered services.
  2. The User declares that they are entitled to connect the given account or shop and to instruct the writing of descriptions into that system.
  3. Write-back — where the User enables it — is limited to the product description field, matched by the identifier the User designates. The Service does not change prices, stock levels, variants or any other shop data, and never creates or deletes products. For one-way sources (a CSV file, a product feed) write-back is not possible and the User downloads the result as CSV or JSON.
  4. The User is responsible for mapping the columns correctly. Before a batch starts, the Service shows a sample of items, the number of products to process, the number skipped together with the reason, and the total amount.
  5. The price is charged to the Balance separately for each description, at the moment it is written, never upfront for the whole batch. If funds run out the batch is paused (after an automatic top-up attempt, where enabled) and the User is notified; the batch can be resumed after topping up and continues from where it stopped. Sec. 6.1 (refunds) applies to unfinished orders.
  6. Products that already hold a description in the column designated by the User are skipped and not charged. A single batch covers no more than 2,000 items.
  7. A batch may be set to recur (daily or weekly). The Service then checks the source at that interval and writes descriptions only for items added since the previous run that still have none. Each such run is charged under paragraph 5. Recurrence can be switched off at any time.
  8. Availability of the external system, its API limits and backups of shop data are the responsibility of the User or that system's provider. The Service is not affiliated with the providers of the systems it connects to, and any names and trade marks used belong to their respective owners.

10. Google Docs export

  1. The Service allows a completed Text to be saved as a Google document on the User's Drive. The User establishes the connection themselves by granting consent on the Google sign-in screen; the Service stores the resulting token in encrypted form.
  2. The Service's permissions are limited to files created by the Service (the drive.file scope). The Service does not read or modify the User's other files and folders, does not delete documents and does not share them with third parties.
  3. Documents are created in a "Smart-Copy" folder on the User's Drive and, from the moment of creation, remain under the User's sole control. The Service is not responsible for their subsequent content, sharing or deletion by the User.
  4. The export is not a separately chargeable service — no fee is charged for it beyond the price of the Text.
  5. The User may remove the connection at any time in the panel and, independently of that, revoke consent on the Google side. This does not affect documents created earlier.
  6. Availability of the export depends on Google services, over which the Service has no control. An outage on the Google side does not constitute improper performance of the Text generation service — the Text remains available in the panel and in the other formats.

11. User obligations

  1. It is prohibited to use the Service to create or distribute unlawful content, content infringing third-party rights, misleading content (including fake reviews), spam or discriminatory content.
  2. The User is responsible for the legality of materials provided as sources and guidelines and for how generated content is used.
  3. Actions disrupting the Service are prohibited, including automated scraping outside the API and security testing without the Provider's consent.

12. Liability

  1. The Provider strives for uninterrupted operation but technical interruptions may occur. Generations interrupted by failures are automatically resumed or refunded (sec. 6.1).
  2. Towards non-consumer Users, the Provider's liability is limited to the amount the User spent in the Service in the 12 months preceding the event and excludes lost profits. This limitation does not apply to intentional damage.
  3. The Service relies on third-party providers (AI models, payments, search engines); the Provider is not liable for outages solely on their side, while sec. 6.1 (refunds) applies to uncompleted orders.

13. Personal data

Personal data and cookie processing is described in the Privacy Policy .

14. Final provisions

  1. The Provider may amend these Terms for important legal, technical or organisational reasons, with at least 14 days' notice; amendments do not apply retroactively to orders in progress.
  2. Polish law applies. Disputes with non-consumer Users are resolved by the court competent for the Provider's seat. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, including the EU ODR platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
  3. These Terms are effective as of August 21, 2026.
