Copy the credentials from your Shoper panel

Configuration → Advanced settings → API access. The store issues one of two variants: a fixed token or an administrator login and password — both work.

Paste them into Smart-Copy

Dashboard → Product descriptions → Shoper. We load the products from your store; the credentials are stored encrypted.

Map the fields and see the cost

You say which field is the name, which the identifier, and which the existing description. Products that already have one are skipped — you never pay twice. The amount is shown before anything starts.

What the integration never touches in your account

  • ✓ It never changes prices, stock levels or variants.
  • ✓ It never touches orders, shipments or marketplace integrations.
  • ✓ It never creates or deletes products — it only writes into the description field.
  • ✓ It skips products that already have a description, unless you say otherwise.
Is this a plugin I install in Shoper? +

No. The integration works through Shoper's public API. You paste a token or a login and password into Smart-Copy and that is all; nothing is installed on the Shoper side.

Token, or login and password? +

Depends on your store's setup — Shoper issues one of two variants. Find a fixed token under Configuration → Advanced settings → API access; if your store doesn't issue one, use the administrator login and password instead. Both work the same way.

What does a large catalogue cost? +

A 2,000-character description is about $1.07, and the rate drops with volume: −30% from 100 items, −40% from 500 and −50% from 2,000. A 2,000-product catalogue is roughly $1,070 instead of $2,140.

What if the balance runs out midway? +

The batch pauses and you get an email. Nothing is lost — top up, resume with one click, and writing continues from where it stopped.

Can I schedule it? +

Yes. A batch can refresh daily or weekly: it picks up products added since the last run that still have no description.
